You put all you have into something,
something you care about more than anything else,
just to get nothing back.
It makes you question why,
why you do it in the first place,
but how else can you know the truth?
I figure its better to give it all I have,
than give it nothing at all.
Maybe artist's put their heart into everything,
maybe its just me.
